Electric models use a non-toxic glycol-based heat transfer fluid and feature APM® self-regulating element technology, which reduces power consumption as the unit reaches temperature—no thermostat required. Hydronic models are built for properly designed closed-loop hydronic heating systems (residential or commercial).
